GLENDORA, Calif. – As part of the celebration of the NHRA’s 50th anniversary of the Auto Club NHRA Finals, the world’s largest motorsports sanctioning body will make an offer to area students that they simply can’t refuse: 50 percent off general admission tickets for any race day during the event.
Discounted Thursday tickets are $10; Friday tickets are $23 and tickets purchased by students with ID on either Saturday or Sunday will cost $29 each.
Every ticket purchased for the season-ending NHRA Mello Yello Countdown to the Championship playoff event, Nov. 13-16 at historic Auto Club Raceway at Pomona, includes pit access that gives fans direct access to the teams and allows fans a unique opportunity to see firsthand the highly-skilled mechanics service their hot rods between rounds, and get autographs from their favorite NHRA drivers.
Students can purchase the discounted tickets only at the ticket window and the special offer is available to any student possessing a valid student ID. This is a walk up offer only, one discount per ID, and cannot be combined with any other offer and is not valid on previous purchases.
