Woodburn Dragstrip has released their schedule, meaning that for the 55th consecutive year, there will be drag racing at Woodburn Dragstrip! With record breaking attendance numbers in 2014, the 2015 schedule offers new changes and tweaks to already popular events, guaranteed to get even more fans excited about the upcoming season.
The first major event will be held May 16-17, when the ever-popular 42nd Annual Season Opener brings the first showing of the 300 mph jet cars to town! As big events, and fantastic opportunities continue, the heart-pounding 5th Annual NIGHT OF FIRE returns, with 300 mph jet cars, Nostalgia Nitro and Nostalgia Alcohol Funny Cars, Top Alcohol Dragsters and Funny Cars, and Ed ‘The Outlaw’ Jones returns for this two-night event, held July 31st and August 1st night. Then, one of the biggest moves for the 2015 season, is the addition of another LUCAS OIL DRAG RACING SERIES Divisional event, bringing the Best drivers throughout the Northwest to Woodburn Dragstrip to test their skills for a coveted divisional Wally. See Top Alcohol Dragster and Funny Car superstars such as Joey Severance, Shawn Cowie, and recently crowned World Champion Chris Demke compete for the glory.
