Coming up Monday, March 23rd on Racin’ and Rockin’ with DragList.com, for JB’s Pick as Racers of the Week, I will proudly present “The Saga Of The Iron Pegasus (Part 1), the story of our friend Bill Mcateer, from Cairo, Georgia, and his lifelong efforts to campaign his Mustang Hot Rod with virtually no money to speak of but a wealth of talent, determination and pure inspiration that has produced a unique and very competitive car, every inch of which has Billy Mac‘s soul built into it.
It’s been a 30-plus-year project and the car has appeared in many different configurations, so I decided to do the story in two parts, with Part 2 of the Saga to be presented in next year’s of Racer of the Week. I’m looking forward to spotlighting “Peggy” and the great Billy Mac in my segment Monday evening!
