YORK, PA – Legends like "Ohio George" Montgomery, Al Joniec, Jon Lundberg, and Bruce Larson will return to the 14th Annual Musclecar Madness at the York Reunion to relive magic moments from the annals of drag racing history at the York Expo Center, York Fairgrounds on July 10-11th for the presentation of the 50th Anniversary of the 1st Super Stock Nationals which was presented at York US30 Dragway. The event is known over the world as the "Woodstock of Drag Racing the largest one day drag race to ever be presented.

Special commemorative pins will be available along with a limited supply of 50th Anniversary posters that can be signed by the many legends of drag racing in attendance including "Miss Hurst Golden Shifter". The York event has been known to have the most legends and legendary race cars in drag racing assembled at one event at one time for many years.

A special Make And Take model building is provided both days for the small fry. The model building is no charge and is presented by the Central Pennsylvania Model Club with awards being presented for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place from the model display. Children 12 and under can build a model FREE and take it home upon completion. Hours are Friday, July 10th 5 p.m – 7 p.m. and Saturday, July 11th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Doug Boyce author of the books Grumpys Toys and Junior Stock will be available for a book signing at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing booth in the West Hall from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

A special roundtable discussion on the 1st Super Stock Nationals at York on August 7, 1965, will take place from the stage in the East Hall from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The Legion of Honor ceremonies will take place Friday evening at 6 p.m. with the induction of fourteen drag racing pioneers. Inductees include Tommy Kling, Bobby Warren, "Mashie" Mihalko, Arlen Fadely, Tritak & Morgan, Jerry Stinner, Jim Boburka, Scott Weney, Dutch Irrgang, Jim Zakia, Stanley Shoppel, Fred Zipp, and Scott Reider.

Musclecar Madness show hours are Friday 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Cruise-In hours for Saturday at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. with awards presented by "Miss Hurst Golden Shifter" Linda Vaughn.

Drag racing activities for the York Nostalgia Nationals at Beaver Springs Dragway are on Sunday, July 12th beginning at 8 a.m.
