The 62nd version of the World Series of Drag Racing at Cordova International Raceway had to fight off sprinkles on Friday and threatening skies on Saturday, but the oldest continuously held drag racing event didn’t lack for performance or entertainment.
14 Nitro cars showed up to qualify for the 8 car Drag Racing Online Nitro Challenge event, 4 top fuelers, jets, wheelstanders, the Victory Nostalgia Super Stockers, Nostalgia Pro Stockers and the Midwest Super Stock Mafia were included along with a match race between Tim and Dan Wilkerson.
