Nitro Cars will Fire Up at 3rd Annual EMMR Toy, Racing Memorabilia, and Car Show

YORK SPRINGS, PA – On Sunday, September 20th three nitro-fueled dragsters will fire their nitro burning 700+ horsepower steeds in support of the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing, 100 Baltimore Road, York Springs, PA 17055 at the 3rd Annual Toy, Racing Memorabilia Show and featured car show.

Ted Brine of Pittsburgh, Brian Beattie of Macungie, and Bruce Larson of Dauphin will start their fuel burning drag cars presenting a combination of drag racing music with the sounds from their fire breathing nitro engines.

The activity for the day will involve a circle track roundtable, a toy and racing memorabilia show of buy-sell-trade items from all facets of auto racing including many items from the former York US30 Dragway and the York Musclecar Madness events the past fourteen years.

Diecast cars, models, racing items and photos including a vast array of drag racing photos from the “glory days” of drag racing.

The month of September is matchbox month at EMMR with a display of matchbox and johnny lightning cars and special model display by the Central PA. modelers.

The hours are 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is free. Food and refreshments are available. The car show will feature awards by Allstate and winners will receive samples of Lucas Oil products. A Longest Distance Award will be presented the entrant traveling the longest distance to the show.

All proceeds benefit the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing.
