Atlanta Dragway Hosts NMRA/NMCA All the Stars & All the Cars in April

NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals presented by Miller Welders takes over Commerce, GA on April 7-10 with muscle car drag racing, car show, midway, swap meet & more!

Santa Ana, CA (January 25, 2016) – The 8th Annual NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals presented by Miller Welders brings together the two biggest muscle car drag racing series in the country on April 7-10. All the stars and all the cars of the National Mustang Racers Association (NMRA) and the National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) are in one place to compete for huge cash prizes and a visit to the Aerospace Components Winners Circle! It’s heaven for enthusiasts and racers who are fans of the American muscle car in all shapes and sizes.

The NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals is one of the biggest and most exciting events of the season featuring some of the world’s fastest American muscle cars. Named “Georgia’s House of Speed”, Atlanta Dragway and staff work closely with the NMRA/NMCA team to make sure that the track surface is super sticky. Racers will appreciate the consistency on the racetrack and the diehard fans will be ready to cheer them on as they go head-to-head and put their cars on the ragged edge!

The NMRA Keystone Automotive All-Ford series attracts some of the fastest Mustangs and Fords from all over the United States and Canada. From 2,000+HP VP Racing Fuels Street Outlaws to late-model Cobra Jets and brand new Mustang GTs, fans are treated to the best Ford has to offer in performance cars and trucks. The NMCA Muscle Car series brings all brands of muscle cars including early- and late-model Camaros, Challengers and more. This series includes screaming quick VP Racing Fuels Xtreme Pro Mods along with the wild Street Outlaws plus several other NMCA classes that make this series one of the best yet.

NMRA and NMCA provide the perfect place for anyone to race their street legal car or truck. As a result, every NMRA event features the QA1 True Street class presented by Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords and every NMCA event includes Gear Vendors True Street. In both NMRA and NMCA True Street classes, all racers are welcome – from novice to expert. The class begins with a short driver’s meeting and an escorted 30-mile cruise. Immediately following, all participants hit the quarter-mile for three back-to-back runs. Prizes are handed for several categories and racers who qualify receive complimentary entries into the brackets on Sunday. At the All-Star Nationals at Atlanta Dragway, watch or participate in the True Street class on Saturday, April 9.

On Saturday and Sunday, the huge all domestic car show fills the show grounds with hundreds of early- and late-model cars, trucks, street rods, hot rods and more! With car show awards handed out on both days, participants bring the best-of-the-best in an effort to win. All enthusiasts enjoy the giant swap meet and manufacturers’ midway during this event.
