YORK SPRINGS, PA – Attorney Bruce Shaw of the law firm of Shaw Laws from Willow Grove, Pennsylvania will present a special seminar on Collector Car Fraud at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing during the first day of Spring Open House activities to be presented on April 2nd and 3rd at the museum located at 100 Baltimore Road, in York Springs. The Saturday, April 2nd activities will include the dedication of new drag racing displays on behalf of Jungle “Jim” Liberman, Jim & Alison Lee, Jere Stahl and an NHRA corner beginning at 10:30 a.m.
A new display of renowned drag racing vehicles will be featured for 2016 with the Dave Strickler ’65 Dodge altered wheelbase early days funny car from York, PA leading the line-up of racing vehicles in the drag racing section of the museum. The Lew Arrington Rocket drag car, the Ed Hedrick Yenko Camaro the only Yenko Camaro to win an NHRA National event, Jerry Baltes immaculate front engined dragster, Arlen Fadely’s Super Stock Magazine Maverick, E.J. Kowalski’s roadster, and Jungle “Jim” Liberman’s funny car will round out the 2016 lineup of race cars.
Luncheon will follow the special presentations and the Collector Car Fraud Seminar will be presented from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. followed by a State of the York Reunion discussion from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. An auction of numerous drag racing nostalgia items will conclude the days activities. Food and refreshments will be available all day.
Everyone is welcome to join a day of comradery and a review of the history of drag racing right in the hot bed of racing activity in South Central Pennsylvania at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing. A Sunday racing program for sprint cars will be presented with activities beginning at 10 a.m.
