GLENDORA, Calif. (June 20, 2016) – Television coverage from the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals will now include thrilling live action on FOX Sports 1 of the first two rounds during Sunday’s Finals (June 26) at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series event at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. Live coverage is from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET. The additional coverage marks the first time this season FS1 has televised live the first two rounds of the Finals.
“This is another example of how the NHRA and Fox Sports are working together to bring you more coverage than ever of the world’s fastest sport,’’ said Ken Adelson, NHRA vice president, executive producer and chief content officer.
In addition to all-day coverage on NHRA All Access, fans will be able to see the full three-hour broadcast of Sunday’s racing later that evening, first on FOX Sports 2 at 6:30 p.m. ET and then at midnight Sunday night (9 p.m. PT ) on FS1.
