Schedule condensed to a one-day show due to a high chance of rain on Sunday
MECHANICSVILLE, Maryland (August 19, 2016) – Maryland International Raceway™ (MDIR) and TEN: The Enthusiast Network announced that the Super Chevy Show presented by Winegardner featuring Jet Wars will be condensed into a one-day show due to the forecasted weather for Sunday at MDIR. All activities for the Super Chevy Show will take place on Saturday, August 20, 2016.
The updated schedule will include two ET sportsman drag races, three rounds of Jet Wars, and two opportunities to win a coveted Super Chevy Show award in the car show. The gates will open at 9 a.m. ET with the first round of time trials beginning at 10 a.m. ET. Car show judging starts at 11 a.m. ET with the Saturday entrants awards at 4 p.m. ET and Sunday car show awards at 6:30 p.m. ET. Car show participants must have purchased a two-day entry in order to be judged for both awards presentations.
Fans will be treated to another round of eliminations in Jet Wars on Saturday. In addition to the previously scheduled times of 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., the battle will continue for a final round at 10 p.m. ET.
