Coming up Monday, September 12th, for JB’s Pick as Racer of the Week, I have selected Jody Burgess and his wife Shelley Burgess from Levin, New Zealand. Jody and Shelley were recommended to me by our friends and Racers of the Week Arran Brattle and Pauline Lane of Angry Azz Racing. Thanks, Arran and Pauline! Jody and Shelley own and operate Jester Racing; a team which consists of Jody’s Fiat Topolino altered (“Jester”) and Shelley’s ’65 Chevy Nova (“Jest Her”), with a front-engine dragster being prepared for the upcoming season.
Jody is one of the most popular personalities in the NZDRA, and I’m looking forward to featuring him and Shelley in my segment on September 12th!
