Spring City, PA – October 20, 2016 – S&W’s has released their new 225” Top Fuel Nostalgia Front Engine Dragster’s preliminary chassis design. It will be finalized and available soon. As with all S&W’s USA Made Race Cars, it can be purchased as a chassis kit with free blueprint, or as a complete ‘turn-key’ certified race car. The chassis kit will feature:
- SFI chassis specification 2.2
- 225" wheel base,
- Chrome Moly tubing that is cut to length, bent and notched.
- 30" Front Track Width
- 21" Shoulder Hoop (inside)
- 6-Point Roll Cage
- 9" Ford Rear Housing (FAB Housing / Floater avail.)
- 1/4" 6061 Aluminum Full Mid Plate (Chrome Moly avail.)
- Front Motor Mount Blanks
- Rear Housing Anti-Rotation Device
- Separate Upper & Lower Front Frame Rail Style
“Our 200” wheelbase car is a perfect fit, for the majority of our front engine customers,” said S&W’s President, Michael Weney. “In recent years, the demand for a 2.2 spec. 225” wheel based F.E.D. was rising, and we didn’t offer one. Clearly, it was time to design and develop the longer, sleeker nostalgia dragster. This car will be available with nose, nose wing, canards, half body or full body option.”
