GRS is participating in the Sunday Nostalgia Event at Lancaster Dragway this weekend, Aug 4th-6th. We will be hosting a GRS Open event Saturday on Aug 5th. There will be two classes; Gasser and Modified. The format is as follows.
- Open to all , Non GRS members and GRS Members
- Driver must pay spectator entry fee at the gate (if not already entered to another class that day).
- Must buy a tech card ($20) from the GRS trailer (located in the pits)
- There will be two classes – Gasser and Mod, classification will follow GRS rules with some leeway on appearance rules.
- It will be Gasser vs Gasser and Mod vs Mod for the Class Trophy.
- Once class champions are determined a race between the Gasser and Mod Champions will be run to determine the Grand Champion and cash award s to the Winner and runner up.

The GRS Picnic will be held Saturday pm and is always a fun time. The picnic is open to current members and their guests. A donation of $5.00 is welcome. GRS provides hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, condiments, rolls and bottled water. We appreciate those members who bring a dish to pass: salads, side dishes, snacks, desserts, fruit, etc… This is a great way to get to know other members, share experiences, get advice and have a few laughs. Please join us.
GRS FLAGS: We still have club flags available for $38 each. This is a perfect time to have your GRS flag waving. Our members are exceptional competitors and are proud of our past performances at Lancaster.
