NMCA WEST Street Car Nationals returns to Auto Club Dragway!

Santa Ana, CA (August 16, 2017) – The VP Racing Fuels NMCA WEST series launches back into action for its third event of the season at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, CA. The 6th Annual Energy Suspension NMCA WEST Street Car Nationals is the first race back after the summer break and school will be in session on the drag strip the weekend of September 15-17.

The NMCA WEST Street Car Nationals at Auto Club Dragway offers affordable family-friendly motorsport events all weekend long. There’s something for every automotive fan. On the drag strip, there’s side-by-side competition between American muscle cars with the Hotchkis Cup Autocross, presented by Nitto Tire, entertaining road-racing fans next to the drag strip.

NMCA WEST brings all levels of race cars from mild to wild. ProCharger Outlaw Street brings on turbocharged, supercharged and nitrous-powered wheels up lift-off with over 2,000 horses under the hood. If that’s not enough, there’s Meziere Enterprises Top Sportsman, ARP Outlaw 8.5, Lucas Oil N/A 10.5 and Calvert Racing Quick Street! There is something for everyone from novice to the experienced racer. Gear Vendors True Street, where all street-legal rides are welcome. Known as the “best value in autocross,” The Hotchkis Cup Autocross presented by Nitto Tire will once again be contested on the professionally designed course offering competitors a chance to test their skill as well as their cars setup. With entries limited, every participant will enjoy plenty of track time plus live timing, music and camaraderie.

You don’t have to be a professional driver to enter – no matter your skill level, this event offers you a chance to drive your car at a pace that’s comfortable for you. Are you a first time autocrosser? No problem! There are experts on hand who will take the time to explain the course and the rules to you, in an atmosphere where fun is the top priority!

Bring your car, your family and enjoy a weekend of autocross at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana September 15-17 with the added bonus of an all-American drag race happening right next door! Don’t forget… you must purchase Autocross entries in advance HERE.

The manufacturers’ midway features product displays, food vendors and lots of shopping. Choose from the latest collectibles or find your favorite NMCA WEST t-shirt, hat or accessory. 1-day adult spectators pay just $20 per ticket, which includes free parking and access to all of the racing plus racer pits. Kids 12 and under are always FREE.
