Coming up Monday, January 8th, 2018 for JB’s Pick as the first Racer of the Week for 2018, I have selected Bob Malone, from Houston, Texas. Bob was recommended to me by our friend and former Racer of the Week, Bobby Knighton. Thanks, Bobby! These two Houston Drag Racers were out there in the early 60s, and Bob’s Chevy-powered Fuel Rail was a major hitter in those wild and wooly days. Brought back to modern times as a cackle car, it provides us with an accurate look at the history of our sport. I’m looking forward to featuring Bob and his great dragster on the January 8th show!
