Napa man dies in 100-mph drag racing crash at Sonoma Raceway The Mercury News
SONOMA RACEWAY — A 75-year-old Napa man died Wednesday night when the 1976 Ford Pinto he was drag racing at Sonoma Raceway hit a wall at more than 100 miles per hour, officials said. The crash occurred about 6:15 p.m. during the raceway’s popular Wednesday Night Drags program.
