August 5, 2018, St. Louis Region – Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Illinois, presented the annual Street Car Super Nationals on August 2-4, featuring the Mid-West Pro Mod Association, Premier Street Car Association (PSCA), JEGS Super Quick Series, Nostalgia Drag Racing League (NDRL) and Victory Nostalgia Super Stocks.
The event concluded Sunday morning at 2:50 a.m.
MID-WEST PRO MOD SERIES
The biggest and fastest field in the history of the Mid-West Pro Mod Series assembled at GMP: 36 cars with Jason Hamstra ’69 Camaro at 3.703 sec./206.23 in the 1/8-mile to earn No. 1 Qualifier status. The 20 cars that did not qualify for the 16-car field were eligible for the Slammers Second-Chance Race. The Pro Mod final was won by Kevin Maddux of Nixa, Missouri, over Jim Sakuvich of Raymore, Missouri.
MID-WEST PRO MODS SLAMMERS SECOND-CHANCE RACE
Jim Bell of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada defeated Chad Javes of Tea, South Dakota in the final round.
MORROW BROTHERS RADIALS VS. THE WORLD
Marty Stinnett of Kuttenwa, Kentucky defeated Jeff Naiser of Houston, Texas in the final round.

Daniel Pharris of Sikeston, Missouri defeated Shane Stack of Huntsville, Alabama in the final round.
