The attached is a picture of the Chicken Chokers Funny car at Atlanta in 2018. This was my favorite car of many I had. When we had our accident on the way to Maple Grove last September, the toter truck and trailer were totaled and I could not overcome the financial loss.
So last Saturday my sponsor purchased the complete race car. The good news is that Jay Johnston, Harman HVS, will be campaigning the car in NHRA Division 1 and will be driven by young talented Ryan Stack who just got his NHRA license earlier this year.
While this is certainly the end of a chapter for me it may not be the end of the book.
Meanwhile, I am looking forward to following the escapades of my favorite car later this season.
