Here are a few pictures I took of some doorslammers that were in attendance at the 1969 Winter Nationals in Pomona, Ca. This is back when even the superstars like Dick Landy, Ronnie Sox, and Shirley Shannon towed the vehicles in behind station wagons on open trailers or on open flatbed trucks — no enclosed big rigs.
