An old-fashioned funny car love fest easily describes the 11th Annual Great Lakes Nostalgia Funny Car Circuit Funny Car Nationals held July 13th at Keystone Raceway Park. Four Injected and 14 blown alcohol funnies put on a great show. An added touch was guest announcing by Brian Lohnes of the NHRA/Fox TV coverage. Here is the story in photos by Dave Oakes.
Bob Daly’s War Horse took home the injected title with a string of 7.80s including a 7.82 in the final

Stacy McGlory made her Funny Car Nats debut in the Country Girl Cutlass and ran an amazing 6.73 on the 6.90 blown alcohol index.
Bob Toth reduced the launch RPM in the Time Bomb Vega to slow the 6.50 car to a 6.84 and a 7.03 that qualified for the final.
