2019 NMCA Norwalk Photo Review

The NMCA bills itself as the home of the “World’s Fastest Street Cars”. The 18th Annual All-American Nationals presented by Whipple Superchargers lived up that billing by featuring cars ranging from Extreme Pro-Mods to cars driven daily on the streets. The event is also the home of the Cobra Jet Showdown, the COPO shootout, and the Hemi Showdown. The popularity of the factory muscle cars cannot be disputed at 60 cars showed up for the COPO shootout, and 28 cars attempted to take home the Factory Super Car title. The three days of fantastic action were made even better by the voice of special guest announcer Alan Reinhart, who never seemed to take a break. Here are some photo highlights and results of select classes by Dave Oakes.

Don Walsh Jr. ran the table in Pro-Mod. He was #1 qualifier at 3.66 and took home the win.
