Coming up Monday, January 13th, 2020 on DragList LIVE as JB’s Pick for Racers of the Week, I will kick off a rare Double-Header with Aidan Heatley-Smith, from Paris, Ontario. Aidan pilots the Ant Hill Mob’s gorgeous Top Alcohol Funny Car. He was recommended to me by our friend and former Racer of the Week, Dan Sharp. Thanks, Dan! You may have heard of Aidan’s Dad, Smax, who is the team’s owner and manager, and the Ant Hill Mob is a powerful and exciting Drag Racing enterprise! I’m looking forward to featuring Aidan and his awesome Hot Rod on the January 13th show!
The closer of the Double-Header as Racer of the Week will be Lee Johnstone, from Somerset, United Kingdom. Lee was recommended to me by our friend Ross Norris. Thanks, Ross! Lee’s “Ain’t No Saint” Volvo P-1800 Gasser is a radical Hot Rod, taking us back to the days of glory in our sport. Lee’s team of Sue, Ellie and Sarah Johnstone keeps it all in the family, and I’m looking forward to featuring this long-running British Drag Racing Classic and his team on the January 13th show!
