NHRA ‘WINTERNATIONALS’ TICKETS ON SALE

Nitro header flames will illuminate the Southern California sky on Friday and Saturday night

GLENDORA, Calif. (May 26, 2021) – The NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series will bring winter to Pomona this summer, and fans are invited to celebrate the summer-themed Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com as it returns to sunny Southern California, July 30 – Aug. 1.

Tickets are now on sale for the event at historic Auto Club Raceway at Pomona. The event will see racing action amongst the four NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series categories. Fans will be treated to the 11,000-horsepower Top Fuel and Funny Car classes, the ultra-sophisticated Pro Stock division and the highly competitive Pro Stock Motorcycle field. The rising stars of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series will also compete at the famed Pomona track.

A highlight of the NHRA Winternationals will be Friday and Saturday night qualifying. While under the lights of Pomona, drivers will coarse the track in their hot rods as they look to seed themselves into the 16-car field for Sunday’s eliminations.

Another must-see element of the event will be the cacklefest, following nitro qualifying on Friday and Saturday. Header flames and fireworks will illuminate the Southern California sky as racers prepare for race day.

“The NHRA Winternationals is always a must-see event for our loyal NHRA fans,” said Kasey Coler, NHRA Vice President of Track Management and Operations. “We’re excited about the new July date, and we look forward to welcoming our fans back to Auto Club Raceway at Pomona.”
