The very successful 2021 PDRA race schedule concluded over the weekend at Virginia Motorsports Park with the running of the Brian Olsen Memorial World Finals presented by ProCharger. Large fields in all of the classes competed for the prestigious event win and several season championships went right down to the finals before the champions were crowned. Randy Weatherford defeated Daniel Pharris with a 3.606 to win Penske Drag Shocks Pro Boost
Weatherford’s win handed the season championship in Pro Boost to Kevin Rivenbark
Jim Halsey is now a back to back to back champion in Switzer Dynamic Pro Nitrous; he also took home the event win.
John DeFlorian Jr. came so close to breaking into the 3’s in Liberty Gears Extreme Pro Stock, running a 4.000
While DeFlorian took the event win, Chris Powers is your Extreme Pro Stock season champion
In Shameless Racing Pro Outlaw 632, Chris Holdorf defeated Amber Franklin on a holeshot 4.17 to Franklin’s quicker 4.14
Wes Distefano once again took home the season crown in the Outlaw 632 class.
Tim Essick had a great weekend in Drag 965 pro street. He won the race and season crowns and reset the class record at 3.87
Chris Garner-Jones captured his first season championship in Drag 965 Pro Nitrous Motorcycle
Jeremy Creasman’s “Skittles” is your MagnaFuel Elite Top Sportsman event winner.
Steve Drongowski’s 55 Chevy carried the wheels the entire 1/8 mile on most passes.
