TICKETS ON SALE FOR 2022 NHRA NEW ENGLAND NATIONALS

TICKETS NOW ON SALE FOR 2022 NHRA NEW ENGLAND NATIONALS AT NEW ENGLAND DRAGWAY

EPPING, N.H. (Nov. 23, 2021) – Tickets are now on sale for the ninth annual NHRA New England Nationals, which will take place June 3-5 at New England Dragway as part of the upcoming 2022 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season.

The race will be the eighth of the 2022 campaign and the event at New England Dragway has been a favorite for drag racing fans since the inaugural race in 2013. The event has continually drawn huge crowds to the scenic New England area and fans will again get the opportunity to take in the thrills and action of 11,000-horsepower nitro cars in Top Fuel and Funny Car in 2022.

“The New England area is home to some incredibly passionate drag racing fans and that always creates a memorable atmosphere at New England Dragway,” said Paul Lorenti, New England Dragway President. “We’re excited for the return of the New England Nationals and we know all the drivers in the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series can’t wait to put on an amazing show in front of another huge crowd in Epping.”

Billy Torrence (Top Fuel), John Force (Funny Car) and Aaron Stanfield (Pro Stock) were winners of the 2021 event. The 2022 race will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1 (FS1). The Torrence family has dominated at the track in recent seasons, with three-time Top Fuel champ Steve Torrence winning twice in a row before his father won last year.

Top Fuel star Tony Schumacher, who is returning to full-time action in 2022, is also a two-time winner at the track, while Funny Car world champ Matt Hagan, who will be racing for NASCAR legend Tony Stewart’s new team next year, won three straight races in Epping before Force’s triumph this year. Pro Stock veteran Greg Anderson is the only driver in the class with more than one victory at the facility.

Action at the race next year will include one qualifying run on Friday, the final two qualifying sessions on Saturday and eliminations on Sunday, as the stars of the sport will look to grab a coveted NHRA Wally as the season nears the halfway point.

All children 12 and under will be admitted free in the general admission area with a paid adult. Tickets are available at nhra.com/tickets.
