SAN DIMAS, Calif. (Feb. 15, 2022) – NHRA welcomes Pep Boys and Mac Tools to the team of partners of the NHRA Youth and Education Services (YES) Program.
The NHRA YES Program is the only full-time education program in motorsports providing quality educational content and activities for schools and youth organizations nationwide. “Pep Boys is passionate about showing tomorrow’s technicians how promising a future in this growing field can be,” said Brian Kaner, CEO, Pep Boys. “We’re looking forward to meeting with students across the country and attracting them to the field of automotive service.”
Mac Tools has been involved with NHRA since 2001 as Top Fuel veteran Doug Kalitta’s primary sponsor. Headquartered in Dublin, Ohio, Mac Tools strives to provide quality tools and equipment to its distributors, franchisees and customers.
“Mac Tools is pleased to continue our involvement with NHRA as an official partner of the Youth and Education Services,” said Mike Brubaker, Vice President of Sales for Mac Tools. “As a global leader in the automotive industry, and a company committed to helping to empower future makers, this partnership further supports our goal of inspiring and educating students to pursue a career in the trades and inspiring the future tradespeople.”
