1) Congratulations, to the honorees, but where are the ladies represented? 2023 Motorsports Hall of Fame of America inductees are Ray Evernham (Stock Cars); Zora Arkus-Duntov (Corvette racing Sports Cars), Henry Banks (national champion driver and trailblazing USAC official in the Historic Class); Dick Burleson (America’s most successful enduro rider in the Motorcycles Class), Art Chester (air racing superstar in the Aviation Class); Fonty Flock (early NASCAR fan favorite in the Historic Class); Darrell Gwynn (one of the NHRA’s 50 Greatest All-Time Drivers in the Drag Racing Class); Ab Jenkins (prolific land speed record-setter in the Speed Records Class); Dr Stephen Olvey and Dr Terry Trammell (two men who revolutionized racetrack emergency services, saving countless lives and careers in the Open Wheel Class).
