Photo Review: 2023 NMRA Norwalk

Severe weather on Wednesday challenged participants and the Summit Motorsports Park staff in holding the Mickey Thompson Tires/Wheels NMCA All-American Nationals. Heavy rains caused the cancellation of the test & tune on Thursday. After things dried out, three great days of racing followed. Here are some photo highlights of featured categories by Dave Oakes.

Canada’s Scott Wildgust led VP Racing pro mod qualifying at 3.64.

Mark Pawuk won Holley EFI Factory Super Car on a holeshot 7.67 to Berge’s quicker 7.66.

Chris Holbrook made three passes in the Varsity Ford Factory X Mustang, a Combined best of 7.83/187.13.

Edelbrock Extreme Street points leader Martin Connelley outran Robert Cook 4.71-4.88 for the win.

Tom Ladisky went on a wild ride after losing an engine on this qualifying pass.

The Watson Racing CobraJet Shootout went to Richard Rodgers over Jason Dietsch.

Casey Fauss-Johnson’s high-flying Quick Fuel Nostalgia Super Stocker.

Sick the Mag’s Tom Bailey debuted this wild street/strip Dodge Durango.

John Langer ran to the #1 spot in Dart NA 10.5 at 7.72 in his Trans Am.
