NOTE: Chicago native T.J. Zizzo landed atop the field when he took his Top Fuel dragster for a 3.735-second pass at 331.77 mph on Friday at the Gerber Collision and Glass Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by PEAK Performance at his home track of Route 66 Raceway.

Funny Car Provisional No. 1 Qualifier

3.907 seconds, 332.43 mph

NOTE: Funny Car points leader Austin Prock landed in the provisional No. 1 qualifier spot on Friday at the Gerber Collision and Glass Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by PEAK Performance thanks to his 3.907-second pass at 332.43 mph. If it sticks, it will be Prock’s fourth No. 1 of the season.

NOTE: Reigning Pro Stock champion Erica Enders took the provisional No. 1 spot on Friday at the Gerber Collision and Glass Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by PEAK Performance when she went 6.548 seconds at 209.69 mph in her hot rod at Route 66 Raceway in Chicago.

NOTE: Former Pro Stock Motorcycle champ Matt Smith powered his way to a 6.708-second pass at 201.40 mph to land in the provisional No. 1 qualifier position at the Gerber Collision and Glass Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by PEAK Performance in on Friday on Chicago.
