“It’s a tremendous honor to be named Senior Vice President of National Events at NHRA. I’ve considered myself fortunate to be surrounded by a great team and great people, and it’s been a huge thrill to work closely with our member tracks, partners and race teams to help produce outstanding shows for our race fans,” Jonat said. “It’s always our goal to give our passionate fans an incredible show. I look forward to continuing to help NHRA grow and look for new, creative and innovative ways to make our national events a truly memorable experience for everyone.”
Jonat is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Cortland, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, as well as a Master of Science degree. In addition to his role at NHRA, Jonat is on the NHRA Wally Parks Museum board and a board member of ACCUS (Automobile Competition Committee for the United States).
