Top Fuel Provisional No. 1 Qualifier

NOTE: Former Top Fuel champion Steve Torrence clocked a 3.840-second pass at 320.81 mph to take the provisional No. 1 qualifier position at the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals on Friday at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. If it stays best of the field, it will be Torrence’s 41st career No. 1.

NOTE: Paul Lee currently sits atop the Funny Car field at the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals thanks to his 3.940-second pass at 326.08 mph from Friday at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. If it holds, it will give Lee his second career. No. 1 qualifier.

Pro Stock Provisional No. 1 Qualifier

6.637 seconds, 205.32 mph

NOTE: Reigning Pro Stock champion Greg Anderson landed in the provisional No. 1 qualifier position on Friday at the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals when he raced to a 6.637-second pass at 205.32 mph at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. If his pass holds, it will be Anderson’s third No. 1 qualifier of the season.
