2025 PDRA Northern Nationals Photo Review

The PDRA Red Line Oil Racing Series started the second half of its 2025 season with the Talbert Manufacturing Northern Nationals at U.S. 131 Raceway. The race was highlighted by a father/daughter final in pro nitrous and the return of a long-time competitor to the winner’s circle following a long winless streak.

Tim Paap led Switzer Dynamics Pro Nitrous qualifying by .001 with a 3.624.

Randy Weatherford ended a 4 year drought by winning WS Construction Pro Boost over Ty Tutterow, who went red.

Fletcher Cox laid down a monster 3.82 pass in Liberty Gears Pro street qualifying for the number 1 spot.

Defending Pro Street World Champ Ethan Steding put a 3.88 on Blake Denton in the Pro Street final.

Billy Glidden made a pro street appearance in this nitrous-fed small-block Beretta.

Alan Drinkwater went 4.11 in the AED Fuel Systems Pro Stock final for the win over Jeremy Huffman.

The PTC Pro 632 title went to Jeff Melnick over number 1 qualifier Lexi Tanner.

Bryan LaFlam took home the MagnaFuel Elite Top Sportsman final when Jeff Simons lit the red bulb.

Brian Werner’s colorful Camaro led MagnaFuel Top Sportsman 32 qualifying at 4.18.

A redlight by KC Ingram handed the Laris Insurance Elite Top Dragster win to Al Peavler.

Don Klooster’s Mopar was number 1 in MagnaFuel Elite Top Sportsman at 3.738.

After thrashing on both Franklin Motorsports cars, Amber Denton took the finals win over her dad with an off pace 5.44.
