“We saw what a huge success it was last year, as online viewership of the NHRA U.S. Nationals went way up. We wanted once again to offer the livestream for free to these loyal diehard drag racing fans who follow many of their favorite racers competing in the demanding Sportsman classes, especially in the tough heads-up Stock and Super Stock runoffs that drivers work all year for that coveted class win,” said Mike McCandless, CEO of The McCandless Collection, and the legendary Sox & Martin brand.
“The legendary Sox & Martin® brand has always represented excellence in drag racing and we’re thrilled to have them again involved in this year’s U.S. Nationals,” NHRA Vice President and Chief Development Officer Brad Gerber said. “By providing free coverage of the opening days on NHRA.tv, and highlighting the amazing sportsman racers in the sport, they’re helping us showcase the world’s biggest drag race to even more fans. It’s a tremendous way to honor their iconic legacy while giving fans a chance to experience the excitement of Indy.”
