NOTE: Funny Car’s Jack Beckman stayed provisionally best of the field on Saturday at the Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals when his 3.865-second pass at 332.26 mph held strong at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.

NOTE: Reigning Pro Stock champion Greg Anderson stayed the provisional No. 1 on Saturday at the Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals thanks to his 6.491-second at 210.44 mph. If it holds through Sunday, it will mark Anderson’s sixth No. 1 of the season.

Justin Bond

Congruity NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series

NOTE: During the first round of Pro Mod qualifying on Friday at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, Justin Bond’s car crossed the center line past the finish line, flipped on its top twice and struck both guard walls before coming to a stop.

Bond was alert and exited the car under his own power. He was examined onsite by NHRA Chief Medical Officer Dr. Surface before being sent to a local medical center for further evaluation.
