NOTE: Top Fuel’s Shawn Langdon set a new NHRA national speed record on Friday at the NHRA Southern Nationals at South Georgia Motorsports Park when he clocked a 345.00 mph pass in 3.724 seconds. It is the fastest pass in NHRA history.

Funny Car Provisional No. 1 Qualifier

3.887 seconds, 339.28 mph

NOTE: Funny Car driver J.R. Todd took the provisional No. 1 qualifier spot on Friday at the NHRA Southern Nationals thanks to his 3.887-second pass at 339.28 to kick off NHRA’s debut at South Georgia Motorsports Park. If it holds, it will give Todd his second No. 1 qualifier of the season.

NOTE: Pro Stock veteran Greg Anderson sits in the provisional No. 1 qualifier position after day one at the NHRA Southern Nationals. Anderson posted a 6.498-second pass at 210.60 mph to land in the provisional top spot at South Georgia Motorsports Park – the newest track on the NHRA circuit. If it holds, it will give Anderson’s his fourth consecutive No. 1 of the season.

Pro Stock Motorcycle Provisional No. 1 Qualifier

6.699 seconds, 203.03 mph

NOTE: Pro Stock Motorcycle’s Matt Smith took the provisional No. 1 qualifier spot at the NHRA Southern Nationals on Friday when he went 6.699 seconds at 203.03 mph on his motorcycle at NHRA’s debut at South Georgia Motorsports Park. Smith is looking for his second consecutive No. 1 qualifier of the 2026 NHRA season.
