Back in 2009, Reed Koeppe put on an event called the Flatlander Fling at Kearney, Nebraska. At it, I got to see the 1965 Golden Commandos altered-wheelbase Plymouth do a few quick 60 foot launches against the altered wheelbase Honker Dodge. This was the first time in decades they were under power against each other. Here are a few photos from that event.
