LARIS MOTORSPORTS INSURANCE PARTNERS WITH NHRA FOR ‘NHRA PERFECT PACKAGE’ AND ‘NHRA BEST PACKAGE’ PROGRAMS
INDIANAPOLIS (Jan. 31, 2023) – NHRA and Laris Motorsports Insurance have partnered together for a pair of exciting programs in 2023 for the standout competitors in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series.
The “NHRA Perfect Package presented by Laris Insurance” and the “NHRA Best Package presented by Laris Insurance” will both be available to racers in the following categories across all NHRA divisional events this season: Super Stock, Stock, Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Street, Right Trailers Top Dragster and Right Trailers Top Sportsman.
The “NHRA Perfect Package presented by Laris Insurance” program will award $1,000 to the first driver across all classes that has a perfect reaction time and runs exactly on their dial-in during a winning run. If there is no award winner of the program at a divisional event during the race weekend, the $1,000 will be rolled over to that division’s next race, increasing the purse for the “NHRA Perfect Package presented by Laris Insurance” winner.
The “NHRA Best Package presented by Laris Insurance” will also offer an award to the competitor across all program classes that has the best combination of reaction time and running on their dial-in, giving drivers two opportunities to win a bonus throughout the 2023 season.
“We’re really excited to offer these programs and give back to our customers,” Laris Motorsports Insurance President/Owner Holden Laris said. “We worked with NHRA to try and figure out what was the best way to give back to the racers and this turned into a great idea. I know I’m really excited about the whole deal, and I hope all the racers are excited about it this year as well.”
Added Don O’Neal of Street Way Marketing and Media: “These racers are the best of the best and we wanted to find a way to recognize their performance on the track. It is very much a unique program and with the way the ‘NHRA Perfect Package” works with the rollover, a lot of money could be paid out to someone.”
Laris Motorsports Insurance has been involved in drag racing for more than 60 years, and with more than eight decades in the insurance industry, they boast a wealth of experience, creating the first insurance policy for racers by racers. Their policy provides broad coverage and with an experienced staff well-versed in drag racing, they are able to provide customized solutions to protect a customer’s racing investment.
“We’re a team of racers and we offer insurance for racers,” Laris said. “Our coverage is built for race cars and we also offer on-track coverage. Our team of adjustors are racers themselves, so they know what they’re looking at. With the everything racers have invested in the sport, we want to offer the best way for them to protect their investment. We’re very excited to do something with NHRA and have our name out there in every division as well.”
“It’s great to see a company like Laris Motorsports Insurance offer a pair of exciting programs to our talented sportsman racers,” NHRA Director of Advertising/Sponsorship Sales Jeff Morton said. “It’s always terrific when a partner comes up with different and creative ways to offer something new for our racers, and I think they will look forward to competing for these bonuses at divisional races all season long.”
