NMRA Introduces WhatsApp Communications

NMRA has implemented a WhatsApp Messenger system race officials will use to communicate with racers, vendors, sponsors & media starting with the NMRA Ford Homecoming event next week at Summit Motorsports Park June 8-11. The WhatsApp system replaces the text messenger system we have used in the past.

Going forward we’ll be sending the following information directly to your mobile device through WhatsApp group chats:

  • Daily Schedules
  • Staging Lane Calls
  • Heads Up Class Pairing Sheets
  • Qualifying Results
  • Elimination Ladders
  • Weather Updates

Make sure you’re signed up for your class group or groups. Groups are specific to each class.

Instructions – Click on the Link Below to Access:

  • Step 1 – Click the appropriate link to download WhatsApp Messenger for either iphone or Android.
  • Step 2 – Click the link to your specific class. Click on ‘Join Chat’ and you are ready to go!

We have these class chats locked so only NMRA officials can make posts in these groups.

Make sure you have WhatsApp notifications turned ON.

Sign-up for each class you want notifications for and they will push through on your phone like a text message as long as you have notifications turned ON for WhatsApp Messenger.
