NOTE: Steve Torrence earned his first win of 2024 when he defeated Shawn Langdon in the final round at NHRA Northwest Nationals with his 3.963-second lap at 279.79 mph to close out race day at Pacific Raceways.

Cornwell Tools Chevrolet Camaro SS

3.875 seconds, 334.57 mph

NOTE: Funny Car points leader Austin Prock completed a perfect weekend with a win at Pacific Raceways. Prock started the day as No. 1 qualifier and picked up the NHRA Northwest Nationals win over Paul Lee when he went 3.875 seconds at 334.57 in his nitro Funny Car.

Pro Stock Winner

SCAG Power Equipment/Outlaw Mile Hi Light Beer

6.536 seconds, 209.95 mph

NOTE: Former Pro Stock champion Jeg Coughlin picked up his third win of the season when he beat points leader Dallas Glenn in the final round of the NHRA Northwest Nationals. Coughlin clocked a 6.536-second pass at 209.95 mph to give him the win at Pacific Raceways.

6.720 seconds, 201.31 mph

NOTE: Pro Stock Motorcycle rising star Chase Van Sant won his first NHRA title on Sunday at the NHRA Northwest Nationals when he ended points leader Gaige Herrera’s winless streak. Van Sant clocked a 6.720-second pass at 201.31 mph to give him the win of Herrera at Pacific Raceways.

100th Female NHRA National Event Winner

Top Alcohol Funny Car Winner

NOTE: Maddi Gordon became the 100th different woman to win an NHRA national event when she won the NHRA Northwest Nationals in her Top Alcohol Funny Car.

Ron Capps

Funny Car

NOTE: During the first round of Funny Car eliminations on Sunday at the NHRA Northwest Nationals at Pacific Raceways, Ron Capps’ car suffered an engine explosion, striking the right wall, crossing the centerline and hitting the left wall before coming to a stop. Capps was alert, exited the car under his own power and was examined onsite by the NHRA Medical Team before being released.
