NOTE: Top Fuel’s Steve Torrence earned his first win of the season on Sunday when he defeated Justin Ashley at the Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals. Torrence ran a 4.022-second pass at 325.37 mph to win his second race at Bristol Dragway.

NOTE: Ron Capps won his first NHRA Funny Car since 2023 on Sunday at Bristol Dragway. Capps clocked a 3.957-second pass at 328.06 mph to win over Paul Lee at the 24th annual Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals.

6.623 seconds, 205.91 mph

NOTE: Reigning Pro Stock world champion Greg Anderson scored his second consecutive win and fourth of the season on Sunday at the 24th annual Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals. Anderson defeated his teammate Dallas Glenn when he went 6.623 seconds at 205.91 mph to close out race day at Bristol Dragway.

6.884 seconds, 196.30 mph

NOTE: Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Richard Gadson picked up his first career NHRA win on Sunday when he defeated his teammate and reigning champion Gaige Hererra at Bristol Dragway. Gadson’s 6.884-second pass at 196.30 mph was good enough for a holeshot victory over Herrera to win the Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals.

1000th Round Win

NOTE: Reigning Pro Stock champion Greg Anderson round a monumental 1000th round on Sunday during the semifinals of the Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals. Anderson joins only John Force as NHRA drives to accomplish such an elite milestone.
