NOTE: Top Fuel’s Doug Kalitta sits in the provisional No. 1 qualifier spot on Friday at the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals at World Wide Technology Raceway thanks to his 3.675-second pass at 334.82 mph. Kalitta currently leads the Top Fuel points and will be looking for his third win of the season on Sunday.

Funny Car Provisional No. 1 Qualifier

Cornwell Tools Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car

NOTE: Reigning Funny Car world champion powered to the provisional No. 1 qualifier on Friday at the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals when he ran a 3.845-second pass at 337.16 mph at World Wide Raceway. If it holds, it will be his fifth No. 1 qualifier of the year.

Pro Stock Provisional No. 1 Qualifier

NOTE: Pro Stock driver Eric Latino powered to a 6.515-second pass at 209.75 mph and took the provisional spot on Friday at the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals at World Wide Raceway. If it holds, it will be Latino’s first career No. 1 qualifier.

Pro Stock Motorcycle Provisional No. 1 Qualifier

RevZilla/Motul/Vance & Hines Suzuki

6.741 seconds, 200.41 mph

NOTE: Reigning Pro Stock Motorcycle champion Gaige Herrera clocked a 6.741-second pass at 200.241 mph at World Wide Raceway on Friday at the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals to land in the provisional No. 1 qualifier position at the third playoff race of the Countdown to the Championship. It holds, it will mark Herrera’s seventh No. 1 of the season.
