NOTE: Top Fuel pilot Josh Hart powered to a 3.658-second pass at 340.30 mph on Friday at the NHRA season opener at Gainesville Raceway. If it stays best of the field, it will give Hart his first career No. 1 qualifier.

NOTE: Funny Car veteran Ron Capps rocketed to the provisional No. 1 qualifier spot on Friday at the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals when he powered to a 3.890-second pass at 334.07 mph. Capps will be looking for his fifth win from Gainesville Raceway.

NOTE: Pro Stock driver Cody Coughlin currently sits atop the field at the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals thanks to his 6.523-second pass at 210.01 mph from Friday. Coughlin is aiming for his second career No. 1 qualifier position.

Pro Stock Motorcycle Provisional No. 1 Qualifier

6.740 seconds, 199.58 mph

NOTE: Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Angie Smith powered to the provisional No. 1 qualifier spot on Friday at the 2026 NHRA season opener at Gainesville Raceway when she clocked a 6.740-second pass at 199.58 mph. If it holds through qualifying, it will mark Smith’s third career No. 1 qualifier.
