NOTE: Florida native Josh Hart won the opening race of the 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season on Sunday at the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals when he defeated reigning world champion Doug Kalitta. Hart powered to a 3.733-second pass at 337.83 mph to secure his third career win.

NOTE: Funny Car driver Chad Green won his second consecutive Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals on Sunday when he defeated Alexis DeJoria. Green clocked a 3.959-second pass at 329.91 mph and picked up his third career win.

NOTE: Pro Stock driver Matt Hartford won his first NHRA race since 2023 on Sunday at the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals when he defeated six-time world champion Greg Anderson. Hartford’s 6.530-second pass at 198.38 mph was good enough to give him the win at Gainesville Raceway at the 2026 season opener.

6.753 seconds, 200.05 mph

NOTE: Reigning Pro Stock Motorcycle champion Richard Gadson secured his fifth career win on Sunday when he won the 57th annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals. Gadson’s 6.753-second pass at 200.05 mph gave him the win over competitor John Hall.
